Responsibilities

Harness Design, Fabrication, Testing and Routing: · Generation of Electrical Integration requirements such as Harness path, inserts, cutouts etc., as per EMI/EMC aspects. · Good knowledge of CATIA V5 Electrical Harness Discipline. · Expert in Harness designing system by using HARNESS DEVELOPMENT SOFTWARE (HDS). · Responsible for Data base management, which includes Harness design, Compilation of data cards and matching, patch allocation, generation of worksheets as per subsystem requirements. · Electrical Interface Definition includes functional description, signal characteristics, originating connectors details, destination connectors details, types of wire used etc. responsible for matching of source to destination subsystem by using PC based software. · Involved in Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design and Electro-Static Discharge (ESD). · Development of a database for satellite and definitions for electrical wiring.
· Designed Mil-std-1553B-Busharness layout to minimize Bus breaks tested and installed.
CLEANROOM Level Assembly Integration and testing(AIT):
