      • SpaceOps 2006 - Conference (Rome)

Architectural and Operational Strategy choices, together with the strict cooperation with the customer, Italian Space Agency, driven the realisation of a fully automated and low cost ground segment in the respect of the Agile mission requirements.
The high level of automation introduced in the AGILE Ground Segment and the identified Operational Strategies help to avoid the possibility of Human Errors, raising at high level the Mission Safety.
Even the Human effort required during the Nominal Phase ,foreseen only in Working Hours, take advantage from the above choices, avoiding the necessity to have 24 Hours Operators shifts.
