Canadian Forest Service, Natural Resources Canada, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Co-leading a project aimed at designing a framework for the update of the Canadian National Forest Inventory. Development of image processing techniques that improve the accuracy of estimating and modelling forest stand attributes (e.g. height, species, density, wood volume and biomass) from very high spatial resolution satellite images, Lidar data, ground plots and spatial biophysical data. Tasks also include organizing meetings, administrative report writing, oral and written communications in international journals and conferences, and fieldwork.

Ph.D., Geomatics, Université de Sherbrooke, QC, Canada (2005 - 2009)

Title: Mapping forest attributes using evidential reasoning with multi-source geospatial data: application to regenerating and mature deciduous stands in southern Québec

Research performed in partnership with the Canadian government (NSERC), the Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montréal, and Domtar Inc.

    M.Sc., Geography, Université de Rennes 2, France (2003 - 2004)

    B.Sc. Honours, Biology, Université de Toulouse 3, France (1997 - 2002)
