Co-leading a project aimed at designing a framework for the update of the Canadian National Forest Inventory. Development of image processing techniques that improve the accuracy of estimating and modelling forest stand attributes (e.g. height, species, density, wood volume and biomass) from very high spatial resolution satellite images, Lidar data, ground plots and spatial biophysical data. Tasks also include organizing meetings, administrative report writing, oral and written communications in international journals and conferences, and fieldwork.
