He was involved in all activities concerning assembly, integration and testing on GALILEO FOC (Full Operation Capability) Project. Mainly he was involved in clean room activities and electrical testing on system and sub-system level: IFT (Interface Testing), FAI (Function After Integration), FPT (Full Performance Testing), FFPT (Full Functional and Performance Testing). All activities have been performed on the flight models from FM01 to FM04. He was been Island Lead on Island 5a for Payload Testing: he was leading a small group of operators for task assignment, tests execution, procedures design and writing and improvements on MGSE and EGSE. He was responsible of the correct execution of testing and allocation of men power. As Island Lead, he was involved in technical and preparation meetings (TRR, PTR) together with key role personnel, AIT Managers and ESA representative in Bremen.
He was involved also in some activities related to the Environmental Test Campaign of GALILEO FOC: design of MGSE and cables support for TVT (Thermal Vacuum Testing), procedures (early stage) for TVT, flanges and support brackets.
Currently he is detached in The Netherlands, working in ETS-ESTEC for the Environmental Test Campaign on GALILEO FOC. He is performing activities related to thermal and electrical testing at system level. He is involved in all the activities related to TVT preparation and execution: procedures design, tools development, test performance as both electrical and thermal engineer.

The main task of the training was to validate and calculate in first approximation the structural behaviour of some items of LPF of A350 – XWB. In particular, he has worked on flexible brackets and on horizontal panel, in fatigue environment. He was in charge to calculate structural behaviour of structures under fatigue and damage tolerance conditions.
He was responsible of fatigue spectrum generation, life cycle for damage tolerance calculation, analysis of stress on structure modelled with FEM software (Nastran/Patran). He was responsible of the production of stress-sheet for item analysed and for the correction of previous issues.

He was involved in a project for a robotic lunar mission, as test-bed for Google X-Prize rover “Amalia” for “Team Italia”. He has worked on electrical power sub-system and locomotion sub-system. He has been supervisor of 15 students group involved in realizing the project.
He was involved in testing of LARES Satellite Cube Corner Reflectors (CCRs) in a simulated space environment facility specifically designed at “La Sapienza” for the test. The tests concerns the optical and thermal properties of the CCRs.
He has been designer of part of the facility (materials, shroud, optical bench, mechanical systems). He has been performer, designer and supervisor of most of the tests. He was responsible of the systems for the thermal control of the breadboard under test, for the operation of the pumping system and for the sensors (thermal, pressure) inside the chamber and on the breadboards.
He has been involved in compiling test procedures for LARES Satellite in collaboration with his team, Carlo Gavazzi Space and Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI).
