    The Sentinel-2 is a polar-orbiting, multispectral high-resolution imaging mission for GMES land monitoring to provide, for example, imagery of vegetation, soil and water cover, inland waterways and coastal areas. Sentinel-2 will also provide information for emergency services. The first Sentinel-2 satellite is planned for launch at the end of 2012

    I was responsible for creating the embedded software for the GPS/GSM device and for the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) tracking system. I was also responsible for the integration testing of the GPS/GSM module and led the integration plan and testing and software V&V for the WSN system. I report directly to the Project Manager.

    XPY in VHDL- Monitoring and Profiling Tool for Space Software / European Space Agency – European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESA-ESTEC)

    The goal was to create an interface to access the Boundary Scan Cells of a microprocessor (ERC32) through JTAG (IEEE 1149.1 Standard Test Access Port and Boundary-Scan Architecture) providing low level code coverage, software debugging and fault injection, optimizing the speed and the reliability of the existing solutions. I was responsible for creating all the hardware in VHDL and the necessary software to run it in embedded C for Snapgear (embedded Linux distribution). I was also a fundamental piece in all the architecture planning process for this solution.
