Calculus Engineer (not lineal): (February-October 2009). Product Engineering Department at ATOS Origin Consulting. Tasks accomplished:
- Sizing Project: Realization of tests and the following documentation of a new tool of Airbus Spain (ISAMI). I was asked to seek for errors and suggest new improvements. Use of Fortran and Visual Basic.
- Impact Project: Low velocity impact simulations on the A350 wing fuel low cover. The aim was to establish an acceptable level of risk and choose one of the configurations proposed by the client. FEM simulations with Abaqus Standard and Explicit were the main tasks.
- Other Projects: punctual participation in other projects such as studying the different capacities of Abaqus or helping in document writing.
Material Engineer: Six months internship at Airbus Spain (March-October 2008) in order to develop the final project of my degree: “Damage analysis of low-velocity impacts on carbon fiber elements”.
The tasks included the research of related papers, developing and comparison of two models, one analytical and one simulated (using Abaqus), and a final validation of both with the results obtained in tests.
Child Care: Since 2002. Monitor in annual activities for children of different ages and the subsequent summer camps. These activities involved its preparation and organization. We had to prepare and organize the meetings, to interact with their families and to carry out periodic evaluations.
Good handling of Fortran90, Maple7, Matlab 6.0, ABAQUS (Standard and Explicit), IRAF, TOPCAT, Microsoft Office, Windows and Linux (Fedora). Intermediate handling of Patran/Nastran, Visual Basic and other VO tools (Virtual Observatory).
Languages: French: fluent (High School annual courses, French families’ interchanges and Erasmus).
Italian: intermediate (own initiative).
German: beginner (annual course 2007/2008).
Certificate in Advance English (grade C, Cambridge University).
Proficiency level courses at the British Council.
