     1. Bihar Road Information System based on Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS:-

     

    Description of the Project:-

    The Project was sponsored by RCD (Road Construction Department Govt. of Bihar) to ASL Advanced Systems Ltd. Bangalore, India. I have worked in the project as a Sr. Project Managerin the organization. The project study area includes the whole of the state of Bihar. The objective of the project was to make inventory of all roads based on GPS measurement as well as image interpretation of IRS-1D PAN (5.8m resolution) own by RCD department Govt. of Bihar State. The whole database was prepared in GIS environment and DSS (Decision support system) was prepared to help executives as well as other technocrats to help them in future planning and maintenance of the existing and future roads. Erdas imagine, ARC GIS Soft wares were used for the interpretation of satellite images and GIS preparation DSS was prepared using cots tools of ARC GIS in VB.  This is one of the largest projects as far as spatial aspect is concerned and private sector’s tender based GIS project bagging from the state GOVT.  is concerned.

     

    2. NRIS (National Natural Resource Information System with the help of Remote Sensing & GIS):-

     

    Short description of the project 

    The project was sponsored by the NRSC (National Remote Sensing Centre, Hyderabad) to the Bihar Remote Sensing Application Centre, Patna. I have worked in the project as a scientist. I actively participated in georeferencing, classification, interpretation and generated statistics of Palamu District the then part of Bihar State. The project objective was to interpret satellite images of IRS LISS III to make inventory of natural resources preparing land use maps on 1:50000 scale for harnessing and planning of natural resources for the development of the state. A query system was built for future planning and development.

     

    3. Sugarcane inventory of the state of Bihar using Remote Sensing and GIS:-

     

    Short description of the project 

    The Project was sponsored by the Industry Department of Bihar to the Bihar Remote Sensing Application Centre, Patna. The project objectives were to prepare spatial maps of cropped area of sugarcane in the state of Bihar with the help of satellite images of IRS- LISS- III and GPS for the development of sugarcane farming as well as to plan the locations of sugar cane industries and other by product industries. I have worked as a scientist and project leader and main responsibilities were to complete the project on time with accuracy and provide info to the user departments.

     

    4. Jute Crop Inventory of the state of Bihar: using Remote Sensing and GIS:-

     

    Short description of the project 

    The Project was sponsored by the Space Application Centre, Ahmadabad (ISRO)to the Bihar Remote Sensing Application Centre, Patna. The project objectiveswere to make spatial analysis of jute cropped area in Bihar using SAR dataactive remote sensing and to forecast its production and yield. I have worked in the project as a scientist and project leaderof the state main responsibilities were timely completion of the project and analyse data at SAC- Ahmadabad centre with ground data collected through GPS.

     

    5. Cropping Pattern Analysis in the Indo-Gangetic plain of India (GIS and Remote Sensing application in agriculture):-

     

    Short description of the project 

    The Project was sponsored by the Space Application Centre, Ahmadabad (ISRO)to the Bihar Remote Sensing Application Centre, Patna , HARSAC (Haryana Remote Sensing Centre), Punjab Remote Sensing Centre , Uttar Pradesh Remote Sensing Centre and West Bengal Remote Sensing Centre. The project objectiveswere to make GIS on the basis of multi-temporal classified satellite images of the respective states. I have worked as a scientist and project Leader of the project in the state of Bihar.

     

    6. CAPE(Crop Acreage & Production Estimation):-

    Short description of the project 

    The Project was sponsored by the Space Application Centre, Ahmadabad (ISRO)andfinance by Ministry of agriculture, New Delhito the Bihar Remote Sensing Application Centre, Patna. This was a national mission project and all other states were involved in the project. Now it is being applied and implemented by NRSC (Hyderabad).The Project Objectives were to forecast the acreage and yield of major crops of Bihar like Wheat and Rice district wise with the help of IRS – LISS III IMAGES. I have worked as a scientist and Project Leader in the project.

     

    7.NWPF ( National Wheat Production Forecast):-

     

     Short description of the project

     

    The Project was sponsored by the Space Application Centre, Ahmadabad (ISRO) andfinance by Ministry of agriculture, New Delhito the Bihar Remote Sensing Application Centre, Patna. This was a national mission project and all other states were involved in the project. Now it is being applied and implemented by NRSC (Hyderabad).The project is very similar to CAPE the only difference is that  the project was using AWIFF satellite data of multi-temporal characteristics. I have worked as a scientist and Project Leaderin the project.

     

    8. IMSD (Integrated Mission For Sustainable Development):-

     

    Short description of the project

     

    The Project was sponsored by the National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSC-Hyderabad, ISRO)to the Bihar Remote Sensing Application Centre, Patna. This was a national mission project and all other states were involved in the project. The objectives of the project was to gather data analyzing satellite images of those districts which receive less amount of rainfall and are drought prone. Data were used to evolve local resource based development techniques.

    In the state of Bihar Palamu and Garhwa districts the then in Bihar now a part of Jharkhand State. I have worked as a scientist and was entrusted the job of report preparation.

     

    9. GIS MAPPING OF 7 DISTRICTS OF BIHAR:-

     

    Short description of the project

     

    The Project was sponsored by the Soil Conservation department of the state of Bihar Govt.  to the Bihar Remote Sensing Application Centre, Patna. The objectives of the project was to prepare 5 layers (Land Use/Land Cover, Soil, Slope, Watershed & Administrative) using satellite images of LISS-III, Census and SOI (Survey of India Toposheets) for the seven districts viz. Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Nawada, Seikhpura, Jamui and Banka districts of Bihar. I have worked in the project as a scientist and Project Leadermain responsibilities were to complete the project on time with better accuracy.

    - if your business is located outside the EU, VAT does not apply to you
    - if your business is located in France, you will be charged a 20% VAT
    - if your business is located in the EU and you don't have a valid VAT registration number, you will be charged a 20% VAT
