2009 – now Postdoctoral Fellowship in Granular Rheology, Polytechnique Montréal, Canada.
Description − Simulation CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)/DEM (Discrete Element Method) of granular mixing: analyse by a statistical approach. Computing, optimisation and debugging Matlab/Fortran/MPI.
− Particle technology analysis at the exit of a hopper : simulation CFD/DEM. Construction
of an experimental prototype: drawing of the prototype, definition of the experimental protocol, numerical results validation. Participation in various intern seminars.
2005 (6 months) Internship at CEA /Cadarache (Laboratory of Simulation of Fuel), France.
Title Thermal behaviour modelling of pebble fuel element under irradiation by a multi scale method (FEM).
− Development, in a Finit Element based local code, of a new homogenisation technique to solve heat transfers problems in a nuclear fuel element by a multi-scale approach: coupling reolution between the macro scale and a representative element volume of the microstructure.
− Introduction of this thermal solver in a multidisciplinary code. Development, debugging and code optimisation.

Description − Heat transfers problem resolution (heat source, conduction and convection) through reactor wall cool down by water circulation in tubes.

− Development of a new dimensionless model. Numerical analysis of fluid flow equations in a fluidized bed.
− Development of a new experimental fluidized bed apparatus studied by the way of pressure probes and image analysis. Implementation of a new signal treatment method: numerical analysis Matlab computing of this new technic.
