During the academic season, my principal background regards general skill of electronics,         telecommunications and informatics fields. In order to obtain my first degree ( 3 years) I worked in an Italian company (Feedback, srl) as trainee. In this period i focused my work on software development using C++. I developed a VoIP (Voice over IP) algorithm  for the embedded devices (palms).

During my PhD experience I worked on a team (R&D) which is intend to operate in the remote sensing field. In particular we analyze the image which came from a sensor in order to detect the forest fires features on an image. In this context, I develop some image-processing algorithm which intend to detect the sudden irruption of forest fires patterns in the early stage of the process. The algorithms are developed using Matlab and C#. We have installed the sensor in the Liguria region( North-West Italy)  and we are collaborating with the French fireman of Nice in order to extend our forest fires monitoring in France and in the Italian/French border as well. The results are successfully shown in the main conferences, in the Europe, during the two last year. Now, I am attending some months in UK, in order to obtain the European PhD and to improve my technical skill, working in an international team. In England, my research regards volcanoes monitoring and I am developing some image-processing algorithm for lava and ash detection using C# as well.

    Computer skills and competences

Good knowledge of Office and Windows tools.

Basic knowledge of Web designer (Asp.net, Htlm, php)
