MISSION OPERATIONS MANAGER/FLIGHT DIRECTOR – Space Systems/Loral
Responsible to the Satellite Program Manager for all mission operations essential to the fabrication, launch, orbital deployment, payload testing, and customer turnover of various communications satellites. Directed all pre-flight planning and compatibility testing during bus assembly, developed the Mission Operations Plans and Communications Plans that directed all orbit raising activities, and managed the global TT&C networks utilized during all launch and early orbit operations for satellite programs such as Telesat, Echostar, Mabuhay, and LStar. The Mission Operations Manager role began at contract proposal and extended through pre-fab planning stage. Role transitioned to Flight Director beginning at initial bus assembly and extending through on-orbit payload testing and customer turnover.
OPERATIONS CONTROLLER – Lockheed Martin
Over 16 years experience in satellite Telemetry, Tracking, & Command Control for the DOD at Onizuka Air Force Base, Sunnyvale, CA. As Operations Controller for such programs as DMSP, GPS, DSP, and numerous low orbit, medium orbit, and Geostationary satellite programs, directed all launch, deployment, and station-keeping TT&C functions in support of Mission Control Centers for various DOD satellite programs.
PROGRAM MANAGER – LOCKHEED MARTIN
As Program Manager for $1.6 Million Space Test & Engineering Contract I negotiated and captured contract expansions valued over $400,000 during fourth year of five-year contract. Presented alternate solution for an extensive Air Force command system replacement - resulted in a government savings of $200,000. Managed this time & material LOE engineering services program through challenge of contract closure. Maximized revenue through extensive use of matrix staffing support.
