Appointed Treasurer of the Company by the Orbital Sciences Corporation and Teleglobe, Inc., supervising $170MM high yield debt offering follow-on activities. Managed investment banking and equity/debt analysis relationships with J.P. Morgan, Bear Stearns and other top-tier New York investment banks. Performed in-depth valuation of all securities, options and warrants connected with the Company and its divisions and subsidiaries. Responsible for the securities management activities of the Company. Led all corporate finance aspects of the Company. Guided finance activities connected with the preparation and execution of ORBCOMM’s 1998 initial public offering. Designed and administered the Company’s new Employee Stock Option Plan and set up the conversion of all options from the privately held company to the new publicly held entity. Managed over $120MM per year in cash from operations, sales, capital raise activities, and contributions from ORBCOMM’s parent companies. Responsible for the disposition of all elements of the Company’s balance sheet which consists have over $340,000,000 of total assets and over $260,000,000 of space and ground segment telecommunications hardware. Implemented all cash management aspects of the company and its seven divisions and affiliates. Developed ORBCOMM’s Domestic Leasing Program, providing lease financing for communicator purchases of the Company’s complicated electronic telecommunications products. This program has provided bids totaling close to $50MM (see attached Transaction List) Developed ORBCOMM’s International Finance Program (see attached Transaction List), backed and funded by ABN/AMRO Bank, NationsBank, and Citibank, to assist ORBCOMM’s international partners (service Licensees) with hardware and software purchases, business development costs and working capital needs. Established the first international, cross-border global communications leasing program, funded by Newcourt Financial, for the Company’s international hardware end-users. Developed and managed the Company’s Space Insurance and Ground Insurance Policies/Programs. Worked with underwriters (AON and Willis Inspace) to develop policies covering all general liabilities of the Company.
