    ·          Downloading of satellite images from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric administration) using Alice Sc Receiving Station through Scan Receive software.

    ·         Cataloging and Archiving of the downloaded satellite image using Scan-Magic software.

    ·            Creation of mission planning to know the name of satellite, time and date at which it is passing a given horizon using two line elements (TLE) algorithm.

    ·         Troubleshooting of wired and wireless LAN and computer accessories in the centre (NCRS).

    Projects Handled

     

     

       Design of Tier 3 Data Centre and integration to the Internet via NigComSat 1R Satellite; Project carried out based on Cisco Tier 3 model design which was integrated through the communication satellite using STK as link budget analysis was carried out for link performance in satisfaction of Masters of science in Satellite Communications & Space systems at University of Sussex, UK.

     

    Integration of wired and wireless network in the Department of Electronic Engineering UNN (University of Nigeria Nsukka). August 2006. This was a project handled in satisfaction of B Engr. in Electronic Engineering.

     

    Simulation of satellite link from a remote PC in a station (VSAT) through the satellite to a destination (VSAT) PC using ns2 software tool. This was a project carried out on personal basis during ns2 training at Sussex University.

     

    Investigation by simulation the basic principles and performance of different digital communication techniques for wireless and mobile communications systems by acquiring  basic knowledge and understanding of channel coding, modulation, spread spectrum and multiple access techniques – study their performance in different communication environment including AWGN and fading channels.

     

    National Weather Information System:  This project aims at using the satellite data downloaded from MODIS and NOAA to monitor weather, calculate Sea-Surface Temperature, Land Surface Temperature, Cloud Cover, Emissivity, Cloud top height, Water Albedo, water temperature etc. using SCAN MAGIC GIS software.

    ·         May 2012: Training on DCUFD Course. A course on Data Centre Unified design which tailored the data centre design from start to test-running and final 2/7 operation. 

    ·         October 2011 to January 2011, Training on the use of MATLAB on simulation of fading channel, spread spectrum, MQAM, MPSK, etc

    ·         The use of STK software for satellites link simulation.

    ·         May 2009        Training on the use of ILWIS (Integrated Land and Water Information System), ERDAS imagine software. These are one the GIS software used in Remote sensing analysis.
