    Astronaut Support Engineer - employed by MEDES seconded to European Space Agency (ESA), European Astronaut Centre, Cologne, Germany

    • In cooperation with NASA and Russian partners, development and implementation of crew support for European astronauts during long duration space flights to the International Space Station (ISS).  Areas of responsibility:
      • Space food: menu development and supervision of manufacturing process of European food
      • Clothing: selection of the suppliers, coordination of certification process and provisioning via cargo vehicles
      • Crew web page: daily uplink to the ISS of  content per crew preference
