Project manager for the development of a drive-system for the worlds largest optical telescope, HESSII, in Namibia. Project duration roughly 4 year, size roughly 20 engineers. Responsible for the coordination with industrial partners.
Lead software developer for a large C++ software package for telescope control, tracking and monitoring. Responsible for software specification, implementation and evaluation. Developer of programmable controllers for control of servo motors.
Tools: UML, CVS, C++ data analysis packages.
Leading the commissioning of the HESSII drive-system in Namibia during 3 months in 2012 to a successful completion. Experience in troubleshooting of electronic components.

Writing data acquisition and calibration software (C/C++) for a sub-detector on-board the satellite borne experiment PAMELA.

This work was awarded an Outstanding Student Award at the IEEE Real Time Conference 2005.
