    • Developed a system to visualize and navigate local or remote (OGS servers, OPeNDAP, WIPE/PIPE) geospatial data.
    • Developed a module to show vector data (shapefiles) and interact with them.
    • Implemented targeting tools to define and visualize spacecraft target regions on planet ground.
    • Developed data profiling tools to easily create 2D/3D plots for multiple bands raster data.
    • Developed a system to parallelize the computational load distributing it over multiple local or remote machines cores.
    • Developed a module to publish data remotely for sharing with the science community.


    Developed systems for automatic ingestion and processing of geospatial data.

    Accomplishments:

    • Generation and automatic update of MESSENGER instruments ground data coverage shapefiles (MLA, GRS, NS, XRS, MASCS/VIRS, MASCS/UVVS).
    • Generation and automatic update of mercury global map at a specific spectrum wavelength, aggregating and photometrically correcting MASCS/VIRS data acquired from the beginning of the mission orbiting phase (more than 3,000,000 ground footprints).
    • Generation of MASCS/VIRS interpolated mercury global map at a specific spectrum wavelength.
    • Aggregation and automatic update of Gulf of Mexico chlorophyll distribution data for Harmful Algal Bloom monitoring.
