Thermal-Mechanical Engineer (permanent contract) within the engineering office of Aviospace S.r.l. (Turin) Aviospace is an EADS Astrium company, with headquarters in Turin, Italy. It deals with study and design of high-tech sub-assemblies and systems, for space transportation and exploration programs. I attended a specific training on the use of ESATAN-TMS and performed GMM, TMM, steady state and transient thermal analyses, post-processing, trade-offs and Therm NV outputs reporting, in the following company projects: - ExoMars HEPA Filter - FLPP Upper Stage - Soyuz Dispenser I also exploited level 1 Ariane 5 post-flight analyses and I am currently working on Mission design and orbital trajectory optimization, with the use of hybrid evolutionary algorithms, applied to LEO debris multi-target rendez-vous (collaboration EADS Astrium – Aviospace – Politecnico di Torino) As Project/Proposal Manager I have been involved in the technical (in accordance with ECSS Standards), programmatic and financial preparation of project proposals toward both ESA and EADS Astrium internal research funding. In this frame I boasted experience in both partners coordination and project control. I followed the hereafter reported company projects: - Astrium Innovation Pipeline - ExoMars MLI design and procurement - Astrium NGL (Next Generation Launchers) Industrial Consultation - Aerogel insulation - DEAM 2 project (light-weight ablative material) - Solar Orbiter thermal hardware design and procurement
