· IMSK – Integrated Mobile Security Kit. FP7 project aimed to design an integrated super-system for Major Events Security. The project combines technologies for area surveillance; checkpoint control; CBRNE detection and support for VIP protection into a mobile system for rapid deployment at venues and sites (hotels, sport/festival arenas, etc) which temporarily need enhanced security. To succeed, the project employs legacy and new sensor technologies, design a system (IMSK) that will integrate sensor information to provide a common operational picture where information is fused into intelligence, perform a field demonstration to validate the concept, adapt the system to local security forces and finally disseminate the results after accreditation by end-users. The development of IMSK will be heavily founded on advice derived from operational security professionals.

· SecureSpace: JLS-CIPS – UE.Theme: Critical Infrastructures interdependency. SecureSpace was aimed to investigate the role of space systems among Critical Infrastructures, looking in particular to their Intra/inter interdependencies from satellite segment. Possible impacts of failures were considered, in both economic and emergency scenarios. To do that, Fucino Space Centre architecture was considered. A very interesting domino effect study was performed in the project. The project was very well considered in the CI community.
· FinBox. Finmeccanica internal project, part of the Mindshare program. The project aims to develop a middleware for interoperability and integration of the products of the different Companies of the Finmeccanica group.
· IMPULSO. National project from “Industria 2015” Call. Integrated Networks for logistic issues.
· SPARC: JLS-CIPS – UE. “Sequel” of SecureSpace project. The project focuses on the causes of satellite failures incoming from the Space Environment (Debris, Space Weather, NEO) and their impact on Critical Infrastructures. The project aims to create a bridge between Space Situational Awareness and Critical Infrastructures, looking at space threats as possible causes of failures for CI. Consortium is composed of really expert partners for different fields. |
