    • Interfaced with all levels of Program Management, Engineering and NASA customers while performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation and effectiveness analysis for Space Shuttle and Ares I Programs.
    • Reviewed, evaluated and derived requirements for Ares I-X Developmental Test Flight.
    • Designed, documented and managed requirements verification, traceability and integration.
    • Completed 100% of the verification reports for the First Stage Structures for Ares I-X Developmental Test Flight. Ares I-X launched successfully in October 2009.
    • Successfully updated the Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) Requirements Traceability and Verification (SRTV) Database.  This database has become an effective and efficient tool used in Manufacturing Operations, Design Engineering and Quality Engineering for requirements traceability and flowdown.
    • Lead Engineer for the Thrust Vector Control (TVC) subsystem.
    • Processed, evaluated and reported on SRB TVC flight data for eighteen (18) successful Space Shuttle Program flights.
    • SRB Site coordinator for Launch Commit Criteria requirements and Operations and Maintenance Requirements and Specifications.
    • Prepared and delivered technical presentations for SRB upper management and NASA customer.
    • Evaluated and resolved TVC and SRB anomalies leading to 18 successful Space Shuttle launches.

    • Served as Subsystem Manager for USBI Second Source Pyrotechnics Program.
    • Successfully processed Pyrotechnic Data Packages for vendors.

     

    UNITED STATES ARMY (12 years)

    Staff Chemical Officer

    Operations Research/Systems Analyst.

    • Prepared, executed and analyzed computer simulations of U. S. Army systems and training in special studies of combat effectiveness in degraded environments.
    • Project Leader, supervised activities of four (4) person team analyzing numerical output from stochastic processes in combat model simulations.
    • Successfully completed five (5) major Special Studies Projects on time, within budget and with accurate results.

     

    Division Staff Chemical Officer.

    • Provided Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) Defense Training and Readiness for the 5th Infantry Division.
    • Supervised staff personnel responsible for training and inspection of the division.

     

    Commander, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Element.

    • Managed a fourteen (14) person cell responsible for collecting, analyzing and processing NBC hazard and wind data for the division.
    • Managed seven (7) person team responsible for training of personnel at the NBC Defense School.
    • The combat readiness of the division of over 12,000 soldiers was extremely high due to detailed inspections and strenuous training regimen.

     

    Brigade Staff Chemical Officer.

    • Ensured combat readiness of 2nd Brigade through intense training, drills, combat simulations and responsible maintenance programs.
    • 2nd Brigade received five (5) of the seven (7) commendable inspections ratings from the Inspector General (IG).
