Responsible for initial gathering and analysis of requirement resulting in functional and technical specifications. Lead design efforts for all aspects of application development including coding of grails modules (Java, JQuery, Java Script) and preformed OLAP cube development and maintenance. Created application test plans, automated tests with JUnit and production deployment procedures. Maintained agile product back log and lead bi-weekly sprint review as well as planning meetings.     University of North Dakota, Near Earth Object Satellite Project, Systems Engineer. Responsible for thermal system analysis and planning for spacecraft both in LEO and deep space. Created orbital simulations in AGI Satellite Development tool Kit (SDK) to assist and validate (using Space Environment and Effects tool) thermal calculations for luminous periods and assist power team with planning. Assisted orbital mechanics team by creating target simulations with ISS and NEO objects (YU55, 2004 MN Apothis) to examine possible flight trajectories. Initial results published in NEOSat: An Architecture for Small Interplanetary Craft Development, 43rd Lunar and Planetary Science Conference.

    Federal Bureau of Investigation, eGuardian, Technical Lead. Responsible for providing team direction on the eGuardian project in areas of development, enhancements, testing, and application and database administration. Provides direct support to government project manager to ensure that external project dependencies, such as C&A activities are planned and coordinated. Supports the development and review of the management and technical documentation suite according to the LCM standards. Coordinates with network and infrastructure operations team to review application monitoring reports and identify potential issues.     Military History

    US Army, Security Section Supervisor (US Army MOS 96B20H) September 1988 - February 1994. Nominated for a Bronze Star for attention to detail and performance above and beyond the call of duty during Operations Desert Shield / Storm. Nominated for Meritorious Service Medal for duty performance during time in service. Designed, created, implemented and refined a database system for the better flow of personnel security actions and files. This database system electronically generated all paperwork needed for unit personnel security and generated needed security reports. This system was considered and approved for distribution to all U.S. Army Europe Security Sections. System Administrator for the U.S. Army Maneuver Command System. Maneuver Command System is a portable WAN system for battlefield use using direct connection, digital telephone and FM radio for communication. System Administrator for Gold Wing. Gold Wing is a long range FM communication system used for transmittal of electronic information over distances greater than 100 miles.
