Heavily involved in the High Level designs of the proposal from Service Integration through to Service level agreements. Providing secure military communications solution for UK national & Multinational forces operating within a hostile environment where incessant communications to users is vital. Specialising in a multitude of communications equipment, including:

· Nortel networks Passport switches & Nortel Meridian telephone exchanges.

Managed stock records of a 30 vehicle fleet and radio installations, including VHF, HF and UHF equipment both in vehicle born and man pack roles, whilst still maintaining and operating the equipment.
Trained new employees on the required standard of operations.
Key Achievement: Headed up the installation of 30 radio detachments and maintenance of a 30 vehicle fleet and crewing in order to support the deployment and operations in Iraq. Selected to represent the British Army in an exchange program with the Australian Army, in order to pass on the British Army’s method of instruction in comparison to the Australian method.
1996-2004 HM Forces
Operation and maintenance various VHF, HF, UHF and Satellite communications systems and sub-systems, within challenging and sometimes hostile environments and situations. These included working the Operations room in Bosnia/Croatia, sometimes handling top secret messages for superior level personnel, and working with the Mobile Air Operations Team in Kosovo providing ground to air communications to Helicopters.
Key Achievement: As part of a 2 man team was deployed to Macedonia working with the French Foreign Legion in order to supervise and advise on a weapons collection site, working in a culturally sensitive and potentially hostile environment.

Attended the Army Training Regiment Bassingborne, working in a classroom learning the skills required for a Class 3 Infantryman. Progressing on to the Army Apprentice College Harrogate, undertaking trade training, learning VHF, HF and UHF systems and culminating in a field exercise working the kit under pressure and sleep deprived conditions.
