Provided MSL, SMAP and JUNO Mission Assurance Managers (MAMs), CogEs and PEMs analysis, thorough reports and detailed recommendations. Performed/reviewed reliability analyses; assessed performance with respect to requirements; evaluated failure reporting, analyses, and corrective action implementations; establishes reliability models and utilized said models for systems and subsystems analysis, and used computer aided engineering tools. Supported design teams and recommended design changes that had significant positive impact for the MSL, SMAP and Juno projects. Demonstrated ability to leverage years of design experience to the MSL, SMAP and Juno projects by recommending necessary design changes that mitigated reliability issues identified through circuit modeling and reliability analyses. Performed reliability analysis on several of the MSL Terminal Descent Sensor (TDS) modules, modeled all device permutations of the circuits using PSpice and determined under certain conditions CMOS devices were improperly biased resulting in certain failure. Also, identified that disconnection of a mating connector (during ground operations) would create an overvoltage condition by collapsing an inductor’s field.
