I started my career in 1997 when in Datamat S.p.A. I joined the development team of the On-Board Software for the Plant Management Computer (PMC) of the NH-90 helicopter: during the following 8 years I had the opportunity to consolidate my technical skills and to obtain growing responsibilities up to project manager in 2003 when industrial versions turned into production ones.
The period 2005-2007 represented an interesting parenthesis when I was busy in international simulation programs for training and digital map preparation applications.
In 2007 I moved into the Space On-Board Software when ElsagDatamat S.p.A. gained the contract offered by Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI) for developing the prototype Flight Program Software (FPS) of the LYRA launcher: under ELV prime contractor I’ve been the Technical Responsible for the development of the FPS, covering all the development phases from SW Requirements Analysis to Validation passing through design, coding and testing.
When at the end of 2009 ESA started the Flight Program Software Alternative (FPS‑A) for the VEGA small launcher, thanks to the good results obtained with LYRA, ELV prime contractor renewed its collaboration with ElsagDatamat S.p.A., meanwhile conveyed in Telespazio S.p.A. and I’ve been confirmed Technical Responsible for the development of VEGA FPS-A: leading a 8-10 people team I’ve been in charge of different tasks encompassing SW architectural and detailed design, coding and test activities besides providing support for SW requirements analysis and validation. On May 6th 2013 the FPS-A was loaded on VEGA launcher for its successful second validation flight (VV-02) witnessing the great job performed by me and my team.
During the years, supported by comprehensive company training programmes, I reached a good balance between technical skills and project management competencies that increased my awareness of the dynamics of medium-sized businesses and enabled me to develop my leadership.
I would then welcome the opportunity to utilise the knowledge and experience I have gained from my work experience over the years and I enclose a copy of my curriculum vitae for your consideration.
Concerning my extra-work interests, I enjoy playing around with some Software Applications for Music Production (I am president of a small no-profit organization - NewTrack) and I love cooking.
I am available for interview at any time in the coming weeks, and tied to a resignation period from my company of 2 months.
