Senior Software Engineer and Team leader:
I’m involved in User Requirements gathering and System and Software requirements developing and analysis for the National Monitoring System funded by Selex SI dealing with the design of algorithm for monitoring and prediction of service performance of satellite navigation over national areas. The system is part of a Satellite Navigation services for Civil Aviation program that aims to introduce in the ATC world a lot of services to monitor and predict the performance over the National Air Space.
My activities:
• Coordination of a team, mainly composed by engineers
• Design and Requirements identification
• Support to the system Architecture Definition
Working in a team, I’m involved in design and development of the prototype for the new Controller Working Position (CWP) used by the ATC controller for monitoring the air traffic using also the GNSS data. The application runs on both Linux and Windows OS. For this project the main languages has been Java.
Working in a team, I’m involved in design and development of the core component used to monitor and predict the GNSS performance over the National Air Space. The application runs on Linux OS.
For this project the main languages has been C and C++.
The system interact with HW components a Spectrum Analyzer(Ethernet link) and GNSS Receiver (RS-232 link) , the drivers for control the devices control was written in C for Linux OS platform.

Working in a team, I’m involved in design and development for the maintenance operator interface that allows the system personnel to monitoring the following information:
• Sensors status
• Diagnostic information for devices
• Plotting the whole sets of measurements
The maintenance operator interface is part of the Automated Weather Observing System that
measure collect and disseminate weather data that helps meteorologist, pilots and flight dispatchers to monitor weather phenomena. The application runs on Windows OS. For this project the main languages has been LabVIEW. During the project I used revision control systems (SVN).
