    Automatically detecting video standard (PAL, SECAM and NTSC) and scrambling video stream and also de-scrambling it at the other end.
    Using Xilinx Spartan 3 FPGA for implementing (de)scrambling algorithm, AVR for PC communication and analog video signal (de)coder chips.
    3. Environment Simulator for a Wireless Communication System
    Implementing several computationally-intensive algorithms for a variety of probability distribution functions, DSP filters, wireless base-band signal processing, I-Q modulator and arithmetic modules required for modeling communication channel in different conditions.
    The design was realized as a multi-rate RTL design with frequency of up to 200 MHz. 98 percent of logic resources (slices) of Vertex 5 have been utilized in this project.
    4. Software Defined Radio
    Implementing ADC handler block, data buffering via external SRAM, data communication via PCI bus and DAC handler block on Vertex 4.
    5. PCB schematic capture, layout supervising, and bringing up the digital and analog mixed signal boards, with PCI and PCIExpress connections.
    6. Electrical debugging of analog mixed signal boards.
