    -Researched, analyzed, and briefed senior leadership on key Space Situational Awareness (SSA) issues and problem sets; providing recommendations for potential solutions in alignment with the statement of work (SOW).

Project required 24-hour supervision.

    -Authored technical documentation to include manuals and specifications; meeting with SME’s to ensure alignment with SOWs and project parameters.  

    -Participated in numerous training and launch exercises; including participation in the launch and early orbit operations for two low earth orbit vehicles.

    -Trained personnel on daily operating procedures through various on-the-job training tasks and scenario re-enactments.



    Air Force Reserves, Schriever and Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO          
    2006 - 2011

    Transferred to the Air Force Reserves after transferring from active duty. Served in a full-time capacity until 2008, and then served one weekend per month, two weeks per year, from 2008 until 2013.  Transferred to Inactive Ready Reserves in 2013.


    Space Systems Operator (2008 - 2011)

    Summary: Obtained position after being certified as a Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Operator in the 6th Space Operations Squadron.  Allocated 60% of time to operating the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program; ensuring system health and satellite status, downloading pertinent weather data.  Additionally certified as an Instructor; allocating 40% of time to developing and facilitating advanced technical training to include Recurring Training and Mission Readiness; building simulator scenarios for trainees and instructing students in various phases of the DMSP training program.


    Transferred from Readiness Flight Commander/Group Deployment Manager (2006 - 2007)         

    Summary: Oversaw centralized readiness functions/training for the 595 Space Group; providing policy and administrative guidance for five units while maintaining and reporting on AEF medical deployment statistics. Built Organizational Management Database which tracked training and deployment qualifications and aided Airmen with theater deployment preparations. Served as the Group point of contact for Redeployment Support Processes and Mission Capable Readiness; recognized by the Inspector General as the “unit’s strength”.
