I completed my Master's Thesis within the FLASHForward project at DESY, and collaborated on the installation of several diagnostics components along the beamline and of the optical components for the split-and-delay system used on the generation of the electron bunches.

This project aims to perform a comprehensive study of the potential commercial markets of the cislunar economy, determining the market verticals, the relationships between them, and the current status of the industry. This will provide a picture of how the mature cislunar economy will look like, and how we may reach that maturity.
11/2015 - 05/2016 – Development roadmap and business case for a Martian colony, MSS16. Individual project.
This project studies, from an interdisciplinary perspective, the feasibility of a business case for the establishment of a private Mars colony before 2030 based on Martian resources and New Space developments.

The Luna Hathor project aimed to develop a framework for future international space mission collaborations and assess the scientific and technological aspects of a deep drilling mission to the Moon.
02/2016 – 09/2016 – Mars Space Suit Safety (MS3), SGAC
Main role: Project Leader
This project aims to investigate the major existing hazards associated with the design of space suits for Mars exploration, defining their risk, identifying possible procedures and technologies that might reduce those risks, and analyzing what can be done to assure the crew safety.
06/2015 - 08/2015 –READI Project (Roadmap for EArth Defense Initiatives), SSP15
The SSP15 READI Project focused on cosmic impact threats for which there is only a short-term warning, specifically a warning of two years or less from detection of the object to impact.

This project focused on analytical and numerical optimization through particle tracking simulations of the working point for the transport and compression of double-bunch electron beams on the FLASH linear accelerator beamline.
