Comprehensively document any system discrepancies and develop a course of action with balance costs, schedule and technical solutions. Serve as an interface between cross operational organizations. Provide MPSS training for both US and International Partners (IPs). Travel to the Netherlands to prepare and train the Dutch JIVC SATCOM planners on the use of the Advanced EHF (AEHF) system. Work directly with Dutch IPs to develop Advanced EHF (AEHF) network topology and the architecture that AEHF can provide given the limitations of the MOU, the satellite and the terminals.

    MPE Help Desk Lead

    Manages the Protected SATCOM mission area-wide (multi-service) Mission Planning Element (MPE) Help Desk (MHD), fielding calls from users worldwide and directing them to SMEs for investigation and resolution. Duties and responsibilities include; frequent face-to-face interactions with operational customers located at SAFB, as well as companion SW maintenance team at PAFB. Managing help desk resources for optimal performance assuring users are provided efficient and timely support on a 7x24 basis. This includes managing the MHD Trouble Ticket Database and follow-up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems. Perform staff scheduling to ensure help desk coverage during normal business hours and on-call support as required. Track open ticket activity and provide metrics and reports on open hot line items and conclude all actions in database. Verify closure status with
    customer. Maintain and distribute software workarounds to the users. Provide coordination between organizations to ensure successful fielding of MPSS software deliveries. Provide fielding decision guidance and technical expertise. Develop User Briefs for software releases and conduct weekly MHD UI/TA meetings to coordinate issues with the user community. Generate weekly, monthly, and semi-annual help desk statistics and provide analysis for VP level leadership and Operational & Program Review briefings.
