Duties
· Ensure that the company projects compatible with national (National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority) and international (ITU) regulations.
· Studies the ITU bi-weekly circulars (IFICs) to identify the possibilities of interfering the company systems and report it to NTRA.
· Participate in ITU study groups, CPM, WRC, ensure that international regulations applicable to the spectrum use as Nilesat view, studies their outcome and report to Nilesat CTO their impact on Radio Regulations related to the company projects.
· Assists NTRA in writing proposals and papers for presenting in ITU meetings like study groups, CPM and WRC.
· Putting ITU fillings plan to satisfy the company growth strategy as a in orbital slot growth or new orbital slots.
· Prepare ITU network fillings with its all stages of process (API, CRC, Notification) using ITU software.
· Prepare coordination plan and strategy to coordinate the required satellite networks fillings and its frequencies.
· Prepare interference calculations reports for a specific networks for helping in coordination process according to ITU radio regulations.
· Attend networks coordination meetings with operators and administrations, prepare interference reports and proposed solutions for the coordination.
· Study with NTRA the proposed general agreements to minimize the required coordination list.
· Studies and plans for new services and applications that can be operated with current system or be considered for implementation for next generation (satellite internet).
