    • System integration; validation and verification tests.
    • Ground Segment Overall Validation organization and execution
    • Ground Segment transfer to operations and Commissioning phase: Management of SMOS-LTA system transfer to operations and second line support to operations; Participation in Swarm PDGS Commissioning Phase preparation and execution.
    • Operational data product quality control, sensor and mission performance monitoring:

    o    Interaction with the Scientific Community, payload experts and Ground Segment operations teams.

    o    Identification and implementation of work-around to ensure continuation of operations

    o    Knowledge of Earth Observation payload hardware and measuring philosophy; familiarity with the algorithms used for on-ground and on-board processing.
