Built a ZigBee-based wireless real-time locating system. Responsible for system design, product development, hardware design, manufacturing, testing, GUI and algorithm development, database/cloud development and productization. Conceptualized and helped develop a scalable cloud-based (AWS) aggregation and analytics platform to analyze over 20M data points. Assisted in raising over $500K in grant funding and convertible notes, co-authored the product patent, and was involved in marketing, road mapping, and managing contractors.
Project Manager and Design Engineer (2014–2015)
Worked with a team of seven engineers to develop hardware, mesh networking, firmware, and database infrastructure for HVAC control and monitoring units currently installed nationwide. Managed the engineering team and led development, documentation, and deployment of the AWS-enabled database and messaging system.
Hardware Engineer (2014)
Reverse-engineered, designed, manufactured, and tested a drop-in photodiode amplifier replacement for end-of-life components to decrease materials and manufacturing cost by more than 50 times, and prevent supply chain shortages.

Graduate Student Research Assistant (2008–2010)
Worked with a five-person team to design, build, and test a wireless network for measuring the heating signature of advanced thermal protection material in near-proximity to plasma during an arc jet test at NASA Ames Research Center. Designed the network, wrote controller firmware, designed and manufactured the test hardware, and developed a LabVIEW GUI for logging and visualizing incoming data.
ESPIRIT/SPIRIT INTERNATIONAL TEAM AT THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY - University Park, PA
Hardware/Systems Student Engineer (2004–2006)
Worked with a multinational student team to design, fabricate, test and deploy a rocket-borne sensor array, which launched on a sounding rocket in 2006. Designed and built the power supply for an in situ plasma frequency probe utilizing the OrCAD tool suite.

Hardware/Test Engineer Intern (Summer 2006)
Tested and debugged the modular processor and parallel processing (GPU) units that were integrated into a number of Lockheed-supported defense systems including the A-10 Warthog. Completed design verification tests on legacy hardware and debugged both hardware and software.

Developed software on an electronic warfare program to automate hardware testing and worked on test bench software standardization. Obtained ‘Secret’ USG security clearance (INACTIVE).
