Responsible for designing the ADCS system, this required an innovative disturbance torque model and hardware setup. AOSat successful won a slot in NASA’s CubeSat Launch Initiative
·Sun Devil Satellite Laboratory- President, Treasurer, Lead GNC engineer (2012-present)
Lead an international team in various projects ensuring that all projects met critical milestones. Also oversaw the clubs funding, outreach programs, club expansion, and member recruitment.
·Capstone: Design of a communications satellite (2015-present)
Responsible for the design of a direct broadcast communications satellite. This included the design of the GNC system, CAD modeling, mission design, and orbital analysis
·Autonomous Quadcopter (2012-present)
Developed and tested code that controlled the speed of the vehicles’ servos and integrated this code with the guidance control law. Responsible for generating all relevant data from testing.
·Mars One University Competition (2014-2015)
Lead the development of the project’s proposal which took the team to the final round of this international competition. Also designed the thermal, communications, and CD&H subsystems.
·ASU/NASA Space Grant Internship (2012-2013)
Worked with senior staff to develop a system that would deliver an experimental payload into LEO to raise its TRL. Duties included design of the GNC section and writing the solicitation.
·Matlab- Proficient at analyzing large amounts of data and creating informative figures
· Simulink- Utilized Simulink to simulate, analyze, and design various types of ADCS
·Ansys- Modeled and tested basic structural components placed under thermal and vibration loads
·Programming- Comfortable with programming in C++, MatLab, and C-based programming languages
·Testing/Failure Analysis- Experienced with testing systems to collect various types of data
·STK- Utilized STK to generate environmental data and perform orbit trade studies
