Development of the ASN1 MIB modelling the interface between both systems.
Development of a programme (proxy) in C++ on HP-UX using the COMET platform, for the acquirement of the data from ALMAP-IF through CMIP, and its transfer to the Java programme in charge of communicating with Indra’s CRC. The communication between both programmes was done through TCP/IP and the MIB previously described. From this MIB, and through COMET, the classes representing the interface messages were generated.
Development of a Java programme on Solaris for interacting, on the one hand with the CRC; by means of a Java library supplied by Indra; and on the other hand with the programme described in the previous section. As development tool, JBuilder was used and, for the generation of the Java classes from the MIB, SNACC for Java from IBM was used.
Integration of the network management systems at element level, into Alcatel’s integrated management system (HSL project Madrid- Lleida) (January 2001 – April 2002)
For the integration of such systems, several proxies; interface programmes between each network management system and ALMAP-IF (CMIP) platform; were developed. The development of these proxies was done with C++ on HP-UX with COMET (Alcatel’s network management tool) and ALMAP-IF libraries:
Development of proxies using SNMP as interface. The following managers were integrated: ATM nodes’ network manager, UPS network managers, GSM-R network manager and Intelligent Network network manager.
Analysis of the proxy for the integration with Spectrum.
Development of common libraries and tools.
HP-OV DM configuration for the two proxies in which CMIP was used as interface.
Development of a network management system for Alcatel’s A9800 radio access system (December 1997 – January 2001)
Analysis, design and implementation of the USM (Manager + User interface). The network management protocol used was CMIP. The development was accomplished in C++ on HP-UX, with COMET and using IlogViews as graphical interface.
Development within the USM of a FTP client, for the acquirement of the log files from the IM (Agent).
