    Solar Orbiter Project Manager

    §  Astrium UK was prime contractor for ESA, with two major subcontrators in Germany (Astrium GmbH) and Italy (Thales Alenia Space Italy)

    §  I was in charge of the proposal and subsequently of the project itself.

    §  Solar Orbiter is a European Space Agency scientific satellite selected for implementation as medium-class missions in ESA's Cosmic Vision 2015-2025 Plan. The primary scientific objective of the Solar Orbiter Mission is to take Solar Science to the next level through observations of the Sun at much higher resolutions and latitudes than has previously been possible. It will be the closest satellite to the Sun ever built.

    §  AGILE has been successfully launched the 23rd of April 2007 and is still working as planned.

    §  In charge of the Bus program and planning management, programmatic and technical coordination, subcontractors management and customer relationship. The AGILE mission is an Italian Space Agency medium sized satellite (350 kg) that it’s equipped with a Gamma Ray – X Ray astronomy detector.
