I’m an Aerospace Engineer specialised in Space Structures (Metallic and CFRP) in the Launch Vehicle domain (mainly VEGA and Ariane 5).
System Engineering and Technical Project Management is the main domain of activity where I worked since 2007, which has led to the conclusion of the development and qualification phase of the involved Launch Vehicle Structures, in a successful path which has been recently confirmed by the first two VEGA maiden flights. These products were, in 2007, at different level of maturity concerning their design and qualification process; for instance the PLA937 development was in a PDR phase, while the VESPA (Payload Adapter for Multiple Launch that has flown in Vega VV02) was not yet started; The IS01 was starting the Qualification review and PLF were practically qualified while the IS12 and IS23 were starting the CDR phase.
