    Dect’01-Apr’04   PhD  in Hybrid vehicles and Energy Storage Systems management (Energy Management) at UTC (Université de Technologie de Compiègne)  in Compiègne (100kms at the north of Paris). The purpose of this research was to decrease the fuel consumption of a Hybrid Vehicle by more than 15%. To reach this goal I have developped an innovative global model of the whole drivetrain. This model has been optimized through a simulating (Matlab/Simulink) software and validated on a real driving train through a control board (Dspace). The success of these researches (that have been awarded in 2003 in Saint Nazaire (France)) rely on the development of lumped constant model of a 42V  NiMH battery. During this PhD I developped skills in Electrochemistry, Energy Management, Power Electronics, applied Mathematics and Software simulating tools.

    Sep’96-Sep’97    MA in applied mathematics and automatics (Université de Technologie de Compiègne UTC). The subjects  were optimization techniques in Mathematics courses, and optimal control methods in automatic. At the end of the year I used the technics to solve an “inverse  heating diffusion problem”.

    Sep’93-Jun’96    MSc  in electronics and automatics (Ecole Centrale d’Electronique de Paris ECE). The subjects were analog and digital electronics. During the third year I specialized my self in optimal control courses and modelling. I applied these skills to model magneting phenomena during my third year trainee.
