At my current professional position, I deal with all regulatory matters that have impact on satellite operation. Responsibilities include:
- Obtaining the necessary licenses for satellite operation in all countries of coverage: Latin American, Europe and North of Africa.
- Providing legal advice and producing legal reports on regulatory issues pertaining to satellite operation in the different jurisdictions.
- Supervising fulfilment of legal obligations derived from licenses and national legislation.
- Close monitoring and impact analysis of legislation governing satellite operation.
- Involvement in local and international organizations advocating satellite industry interests.
- Relations with regulatory authorities.

January 2009 – February 2013
While working at the Legal Department, I learned about the commercial and procurement aspects of satellite and got familiar from a legal point of view with concepts such as lease of satellite capacity, launch and construction or insurance related matters. Responsibilities included:
Space industry related contracts (lease of satellite capacity, satellite launching & construction and contract change notices, MOUs, NDAs, etc.)
General legal matters.
Managing relevant administrative files before administrative bodies.
Dealing with notary and Mercantile Register proceedings.
Producing documents pertaining to corporate matters as regards compliance with applicable legislation.
Financial & Budget Analyst, Telecom Industry
July 2003 – January 2009
As a Financial and Budget Analyst, I monitored an OPEX budget execution of more than 30 MM €. Responsibilities included:
Designing the annual budget of the Operational Directorate and its corresponding forecast.
Identifying, analysing and communicating budget deviations in timely manner, providing adequate proposals to solve arising issues.
Producing financial and expenditure reports to senior management, both periodically and upon request, providing specific analysis on individual costs when required.
Acting as a liaison between the Operational and Financial Directorates.
Other related to the position such as data mining.
