    THE BOEING COMPANY – El Segundo, Ca – 12/10 to Present Position: Sr. Spacecraft Integration Technician Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of flight spacecraft components including but not limited to soldering, wire stripping, wire routing, crimping, wire harness assembly, bonding, cleaning, surface preparation, assembly/disassembly, fastener installation, repair and rework of flight hardware, assembly/disassembly of ground support equipment and tooling, drilling, cutting, hand and power tool operation, testing, drawing review, interpretation of build packages and planning documentation, crane and hoist operation, moving platform, fork lift, rolling stock, and access equipment operation, hardware moves, etc. The ability to work in a high-paced demanding environment. Read drawings and engineering specifications. Follow directions, reading and interpreting metrics, charts, and data. -Positive attitude and high work ethics, punctuality, time management skills. Personal warranty and high standard of workmanship with attention to detail. Seeking assistance when necessary, good verbal and written communication, Adequate math skills.     SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES - Hawthorne, Ca – 05/10 to 11/2010 Position: Rocket Structures Integration Technician Responsibilities: Use tooling holes, pilot holes, or by hand (as required), per drawing or tooling instructions. Align parts and secure in place using Clecos or tooling/hand clamps. Check for good edge margins and alignment. Shim and/or trim parts as required. Select drill bits, reamers and/or countersinking tools for pilot and full size holes. Locate, drill pilot holes using drill motor and proper size drill bit(s). Drill, ream, countersink full size holes in parts/assemblies, in proper sequence and to correct size using drill motor. Set countersinking tools to proper depth as required. Disassemble parts and deburr holes using chip chasers, deburring tools, and files to prepare for installation of fasteners. Use solvents to clean surfaces prior to sealing or assembly. Apply sealant, alodine, primer, adhesives, special finishes. Load and unload ovens to bond detail parts to assemblies. Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in approved manner. Determine and obtain correct type and size fasteners. Cold work holes to prepare for close tolerance fastener installation. Install bushings into housings using arbor press and/or hydraulic puller. Apply liquid nitrogen to facilitate installation of bushings. Install fasteners in correct sequence per drawing, using correct tools (e.g., rivet gun and bucking bar, drill motor, power screwdriver, C-squeeze, ratchet wrench, nut runner). Check work after completion of each operation in job per drawing. Work with planners to improve efficiency of work flow throughout the department. Ensure the quality of manufactured items is in conformance with applicable drawings and specifications. Continually monitor processes and make continuous improvement recommendations.

    AEROVIRONMENT- Simi Valley, Ca – 03/09 – 05/10 Position: Assembly Integration Specialist Manufacture and assemble of composites structures and hydrogen fuel systems for “Global Observer” –Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle (UAV). Performed sheet metal fabrications of parts and sub- assemblies, build aircraft center and outer composite wings, wing spars and ribs, skin panels, center fuselage, empennage and tail section, install wire harness, mix solvents and various bonding adhesives; applied to bond composite surfaces. Read blueprints/drawings, follow written instructions, and install flight control surfaces, flaps, slats, rudder, and actuators. Install various fasteners onto door and engine hatch bay compartments, route and install coax cables for communications and camera equipment on aircraft. Inspect workmanship and completed assembly work orders. Initiate and complete pre-flight testing at Edwards Air Force Base.

    NASA-JPL JET PROPULSION LABORATORY - Pasadena, CA – 03/07– 01/09 Positions: Spacecraft Flight Integration Specialist – Airframe & Power Plant Licensed. Work in the development of Proto-type and flight hardware; assemble and support testing of mechanical devices. Work with Engineers on the Mars Science Laboratory –MSL, performing and assembling space craft hardware, follows work instructions in sequence, maintains quality assurance acceptance reports and complete assignments as required. NASA Certified in protocol and procedures with hazard waste handling and disposal. Operate actuators and install wire harness onto spacecraft; drill precision holes within tolerances of .001” Critical handling of flight hardware and overhead crane moves on Spacecraft and Delta IV rocket, Electrical Static and Discharge prevention. Maintenance and operates heat rejection and hydraulic systems. Certified in working environment of 100-10,000 clean rooms. Repair flight control surfaces that require drilling, reaming, and countersinking of aluminum, titanium, and composite structures. Installation of hi locks, Jo-bolts, and hi-torque fasteners. Interpret drawings and engineering orders. Read blue prints/drawings, follow written instructions. Use assorted hand tools such as drills, jo-bolt and Hilok installation tools. Drill, ream, and countersink close tolerance holes within specifications. Multitask concurrently as required in order to complete assignments. Member of Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations – ATLO.

    HITCO CARBON COMPOSITES -Gardena, CA – 05/ 05 – 11/06 Position: Quality Engineer: Responsible for conducting investigative work in order to resolve quality related problems on F-22 Raptor. Reviews customer suppliers and quality requirements to ensure correct clauses. Develop methods and procedures for in-process inspection, testing, configuration, reliability and evaluations of standard programs. Conducts NadCap Audits. Analyzes and collects data, submits information forms to managers and customer representatives. Creates ATP (Acceptance Test procedure) & ATDR (Acceptance Test Data Report) to present along with product to customers as required. Performed ISO 9000:2000 Quality Standard.

    ALLIANCE SPACESYSTEMS – Signal Hills, CA - 04/01– 05/05 Position: Senior Assembly Technician: Handle quality control documents and plan the modification and implementation of documents such as: blueprints, engineering orders and all quality control documents. Build, assemble, and modification of space satellite metal and composite structures, and related tooling for aerospace defense contractors. Handle composite panel for all five Mars rovers. Work in clean room environments with space assemblies and flight hardware. Start and complete work order instruction issued from engineers and lead assembly technicians. Performed sheet metal fabrications. Mix solvents and various bonding adhesives, i.e. Hysol. Review customer and government specs, MSDS manuals, AQMD regulations, composite materials and flight hardware specs. Assemble and disassemble of mechanical devices and space structures. Bonding of metal inserts onto composite and metal flight panels. Rivet shave surfaces, alodine, chem.-film, and acid etched various exposed metals.

    ARVAN, INC. –Gardena, CA - 4/99 – 04/01 Position: Senior Assembly Technician Design of customized ejection molding for aerospace defense contractors. Assembly of aluminum, fiberglass structures for commercial and military aircraft. Maintain parts inventory and monitor all levels of critical products released by engineering to sales staff. Sell engineering solutions and related peripherals to specific vendors.

    NORTHROP GRUMMAN- Hawthorne CA - 09/97– 04/99 Position: Aircraft Assembly Technician / Certified Airframe Mechanic- CAM Assembly of skin panels for Boeing 747 and F-18 Aircraft. Proposed cost reducing changes to manufacturing divisions. Conducted time study analysis of complex manufacturing processes. Drafted floor plans and planned immense structural changes to increase efficiency and recommended changes to be implemented company-wide.

    MC DONNELL DOUGLAS- BOEING COMPANY-LONG BEACH, CA-09/89 – 09/97 Position: Aircraft Airframe & Power-Plant Mechanic/Quality Engineer.
