    Operations preparation of GCS for special operations, simulations, test campaigns.

    Observations and Incidents management, supported by dedicated tools

    processing/investigation/resolution/mitigation of Anomalies, supported by dedicated tools

    processing/testing of Configuration Change Reports (CCR), supported by dedicate tools

    Support Planning team for the planning of the Ground activities impacting the routine/special operations.

    Operational validation of all GCS operative software (based on HMI), such as Constellation monitor and control (SCOS2K), mission planning, flight dynamics (focus Client), Configuration items control (MySql & MOIS), ground station monitoring and control, Constellation Simulator (SIMSAT)

    Support documentation review, milestones and workshops.

    Support to the Mission Operations executed on the GCCD backup site and support GCCI activities when required.

     

    Responsible for the following Ground processes:

    Service Continuity and Split GCC Responsible: develop timeline, procedures, plans and reports to exercise a GCS Planned Hand-over. Ensure that system, processes and personnel are ready to support the planned handover scenario, ensure readiness of the unplanned handover scenario, exercise the dual GCC Operations Concept for LEOP

    Configuration Process Responsible: review the new CCRs (Configuration change request), attending the weekly board as OPS representative, add actions in the weekly team plan (test CCRs, follow the implementation, cope with the AI received during the board), support to fast track CCRs and maintain the GCS Configuration Table.

    Anomaly Process Responsible: review the new ARs (Anomaly Report) and ensure the consistency, check that all actions assigned to the team have been responded before the due date, attending the weekly board as OPS representative, add actions in the weekly team plan (according to the action assigned in the boards), Updating OPS Workaround Pages.

    Procedure Process Responsible: Review the PCRs (Procedure Change Request) before to be submitted for Approval to the customers, attending the weekly board as OPS representative, add actions in the weekly team plan (according to the list of open/pending PCRs), uploading the new procedures on a common tool (i.e. OPSWEB), updating the validation matrix, closing any POI that may be open tracking a temporary deviation for this procedure. Informing the teams using that procedure about the changes done to the procedure.

    MTP Process Responsible for VAL chain: Provide inputs for the weekly meeting, attending the meeting as Ground representative in order to raise potential conflicts and provide further clarification to the inputs, if needed.

     

    Others:

    Management of the Ground Documentations: GOPs (Ground Operations Plans), nominal and Contingency procedures, validation plan and report, internal procedures and processes, Ground reports

    Daily usage of project tools (ARTS, SDT, CMAT, TMS) and internal tools (OPSWeb, OPSLog, SIMLog)
