    SpaceMoss (2015)

    Extra-curricular, cross disciplinary, student research project.  Researched how to  make  future  manned  missions  to  Mars  cheaper  and  more  self  sufficient  by genetically manipulating moss to produce beneficial components for astronauts and resist harsh temperatures on Mars.  SpaceMoss was awarded a gold medal and two nominations at the international iGEM competition at MIT.


    CosmoCrops (2016)

    CosmoCrops was the successor to Project SpaceMoss (2015) and researched the possibilities of creating a co-culture of bacteria which are genetically manipulated to produce plastic from sunlight and CO2.


    Space Station Design Workshop (2016)

    Won the competition of designing a manned platform in space on the intensive one-week workshop at the IRS facility in Stuttgart, Germany.


    Red Quasars (2014)

    Summer school project for observational astronomy.  Included three nights of observations at the ’Nordic Optical Telescope (NOT)’ on La Palma.  Supervisor: Johannes Fynbo.

    I am a member of the crew of the viking ship the Sea Stallion.  The Sea Stallion  is  32  m  long  and  is  sailed  by  50  crew  members.   It  is  the  worlds  largest reconstruction of a Viking ship. As I am a Dane I love biking.  Most of the time just to and from work but also on longer trips.  In 2015 I biked from Copenhagen to Oslo in Norway.  I have also  tested  my  fitness  to  the  max  when  I  completed  an  Ironman  triathlon  in 2011.  During the week I play soccer and take swing-dance lessons.
