    OPERATOR: (Apr 2013-Present) Job Description: The MMCS Satellite Controller Operator supports the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) program, Mission Support Team (MST.) Operator duties to include providing engineering support to the JPSS ground system at the new National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) in Suitland, Maryland In Support of the (NPP) National Polar Program as well as the (DMSP) Defense Metrological Satellite program. As a (MMCS) Operator I am responsible for the operation and monitoring of the entire system to include Space/Ground links, Spacecraft, Ground Station support equipment, Data transport systems, all ground software/hardware architecture and network interfaces. The MMCS Operator reports to the MST Mission Operations Support Lead. Duties include, but not limited to: • Approve mission plans and procedure changes. • Direct technical interface, as-required, with satellite, sensor, and ground software factories. • Serve as Mission Operations Team interface for System Test development/execution. • Chair anomaly resolution teams. • Review all data on performance from the mission planner and analysts. • Track related Work Requests. • Perform all tasks allocated by the Operations Director. • Coordinate System Upgrade technical activities. • Ensure system resources are available to support all mission operations, training and maintenance activities.
    CPERT Operator: (Jun 2012- Apr 2013) Duties: Responsible for the daily operation and monitoring of ground systems in support Of the JPSS/NPOESS program next-generation weather satellite system. Daily responsibilities include the operation of the CPERT data accountability Tool, as well as interactions with ground software/ hardware, and internal and external interfaces. Also serves as Mission Operations interface for System Test, development and execution. Daily review of all data on performance, and identify issues with performance and assist in Anomaly resolution. Other tasks include the tracking of Work Requests, and all tasks allocated from the Operations Director.
    SYSTEM ENGINEER: (Aug 2010-Jun 2012) Duties: Responsible for the daily operation and monitoring of satellite systems. Responsible for the execution of real-time MCS command and control activities as well as Monitoring of satellite system telemetry. Daily tasks include the report And documentation of anomalous performance, as well as interaction with other MCS Team members to assist in the validation of operational requirements performance.
    IT SPECIALIST: (Mar 2009-Aug 2010) Duties: Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance and performance monitoring, per established policies/ procedures, on a large scale complex computer controlled RF communications system. Participates in hardware discrepancy and anomaly resolution, including repair, test and replacement of failed communication equipment. Also coordinates with multiple organizations and disciplines, using both oral and written skills. Interfaces with operational counterparts to monitor and assist, with ongoing activities via operations and maintenance consoles. Provides support as required to development activities including fabrication, installation, test, and maintenance of new or modified hardware, and special test configurations.
    PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR: (3 yrs) Duties: Responsible for the operation of work facility and supervision of IS co-workers. Leads personnel in the operation of hardware/software interfaces as necessary to ensure production objectives are met, reporting to assigned supervisor. Uses advanced knowledge of equipment operation to assist in the resolution of problems. Coordinates and performs systems operations. Trains assigned personnel in the operation, engineering principles, and inter-relationships of PPF equipment, as well as orientation of new personnel. Maintains personnel records, and counsels personnel on job performance. Conducts and documents performance evaluations.
    PRODUCTION SPECIALIST: (GROUP-LEADER PRIORITY MONITORING AND CERTIFICATION) Duties: Daily inspecting and quality control of all products and Parameters. Communicates and coordinates job priorities with shift personnel/ supervisors. Initiates and records equipment logs, makes recommendations for overall product quality. Responsible for the training of new personnel .
    Production Specialist: (GROUP-LEADER PRT) Duties: Operates electro-mechanical computer controlled, pneumatic equipment used to generate and record technical data and monitors the operation and flow of production. Assists in training personnel and performs much the same duties as current position.
