    SUMMARY

    Lead the identification of needed terrestrial circuits for acquisition, Optimization and monitoring of existing and future circuits.

    Proficient with (VSAT) and larger fixed ground station satellite systems operating in a variety of industry standard SATCOM network configurations to include SCPC, TDMA, etc.

    Hands on operational experience with platforms (iDirect, Surfbeam, and Linkstar).

    Evaluates, configures, tests, and provides operations and sustainment support for all elements of the RF transmit.

    Receives chain to include IP based satellite modems interfacing with industry standard satellite bandwidth management systems such as iDirect.

    Performs advanced configurations and troubleshooting on iDirect networks.

    Conducts advanced GQoS configurations on iDirect networks.

    Efficiently configure Layer-2 and Layer-3 topologies running over iDirect satellite network.

    Configures, operates, manages, maintains and performs basic remote-side troubleshooting of a typical iDirect satellite network. 

    Oversees the daily SATCOM execution and maintain an expert view of the current SATCOM’s state operations.

    Serves as technical support to VSAT installation, commissioning as well as troubleshooting to residential & enterprise clients.

    Handles different VSAT equipment and test equipment.

    Manages scheduled changes, incident escalation and Verification of Reference for iDirect Terminals.

    Knowledge of and direct experience with deployable satellite antenna terminals, TDMA  satellite modems and hubs (iDirect), network acceleration devices, routers, switches, and networking at the LAN and WAN levels.

    Designs, implements and maintains a satellite bandwidth pooling methodology to optimize Fleet bandwidth.
