Activities: - Develop a tool with high level language MATLAB to evaluate the regression rate of the fuel and the performance of a hybrid propulsion system for interplanetary CubeSats.
- Perform a thermal modeling in order to derive temperatures inside the combustion chamber and their distribution. After that, evaluate thermal and pressure stresses and verify if adopted materials can withstand them. Consider then different configurations to see changes in thermal behavior during the combustion process for a range of motor designs.
- Participate in running tests and updating the hybrid test facility.

Topic speech: “Punti Lagrangiani e traiettorie Lissajous”, that dealt with the Lagrangian points and the orbits related to them, with focus on the main missions carried out to these points.

Topic speech: “Thermal analysis of a hybrid rocket propulsion system for interplanetary CubeSats”, that presents results of thermal analysis performed on a GOX/PMMA hybrid rocket motor for a CubeSat application. Temperature profile and stresses inside the fuel grain were evaluated and changes adding devices to improve performance were investigated.
