I’m a Telecommunications Engineer with an MSc in Spacecraft Design and, during my University studies, I have learnt the basics of project management, as well as enriched my passion for technology and innovation. Moreover, during the studies, cooperation among students has been always promoted by proposing group projects.
My early professional experience has been in a technology transfer company. It has let me test the knowledge achieved in the University, which has been really useful for analyzing several kinds of technologies. Moreover, I have been able to know most of the latest technology developments in many different fields, which has let me learn about them and has helped me realize how fascinating the space sector is. Furthermore, thanks to the different co-worker profiles, I have seen different work methodologies and points of view that have been interesting for improving my own ones.
At this point, my professional aim is to work in the space industry, where I can actively contribute to the development and operation of systems that are sent to space. Nonetheless, I’d still like to keep on studying and educating myself in the field of space systems.
Finally, regarding my hobbies, I’ve always had a passion for team sports such as basketball as well as those that challenge a person’s capabilities and push one’s limits such as climbing, as well as following the latest technological and scientific discoveries. When my studies and job allow me, I also cooperate with the human tower group in Granollers. Human towers are a Catalan tradition and a perfect example of teamwork and what can be achieved with a huge group of people with the same objective and the right motivation and coordination.

2008 - 2013     Engineering Degree in Telecommunications Systems
La Salle, Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona
2015 - 2017     Master Program in Spacecraft Design
                            Luleå University of Technology, Kiruna.
Thesis on a new generation GNSS receiver developed at Colorado Center for  Astrodynamics Research (CCAR), hosted by the Colorado Aerospace Department of Colorado University in Boulder.
2017                Human Spaceflight - An introduction
Royal Institude of Technology in Stockholm and edX.

2017 (February) – 2017 (August) Colorado University in Boulder (CUB), Boulder, Colorado (US). GNSS research.
Brief description of the company: CCAR is dedicated to the study of astrodynamics and the application of satellites to science, navigation, and remote sensing of the Earth and planets. It is hosted by the Colorado Aerospace Department of the Colorado University in Boulder, which has been repeatedly ranked as an American university with top aerospace programs.

    Visiting Scholar

The main activities carried out as a researcher of the GNSS Lab, especially as a member of the electronics development unit, can be divided into two categories: old and new designs. In regards to the old designs, activities revolve around compiling, understanding, and reviewing older designs in order to bring them back to a production stage after a rather long pause, meaning that also components and their part numbers have to be checked for availability and good standing. On the other hand, for new designs, tasks consist in developing new GNSS receivers and parts, starting from the definition of design requirements, following with the mechanical (sizes, materials, shapes, etc.) and electrical design (component comparison and selection, connections, footprints, layout, routing, etc.), and performing basic mechanical and electrical simulations. Some activities have been common for both types of projects, such as detecting potential manufacturers for the different parts, generating the required files for obtaining a quote and production, and following up with the whole production and testing phases.
My direct supervisor has been Prof. Dennis M. Akos, leader of the research group in GNSS.
