Responsible for execution of all scheduled activities, coordinate and supervise short noticed unscheduled supports. Ensure that all groundstations are remotely configured in support of satellite passes, tests and maintenance activities. Ensure all services are provided as requested. Liaise with several foreign agencies like NASA, JAXA, EUMETSAT and KSAT, when using their equipment or supporting their missions. Acting as the focal point for collecting and responding to information about all ground segment anomalies encountered. Maintain an overview of status and availability of all facilities and comms connections including ISDN, MPLS and internet VPN links worldwide. Coordinate contingency operations if necessary. Identify anomalies at groundstations and network equipment. Execution of 1st line maintenance to restore services. Activation of ISDN lines on missions requests. Handling incidents and customer service requests with the ITSM tool. Initiate and report on callouts of local station-staff, if necessary. File and submit anomaly reports about encountered problems to the operations supervisor and relevant ESA authorities. Compile, edit and distribute reports about all activities carried out.
Working as Operations manager in the ESA Kourou Groundstation-support team during Galileo L7 + L8 launch and early orbit phases in May 2016 and December 2017.
