    I am a senior consultant with over 17 years of experience working for ESA in areas spanning from Onboard Software testing to the Operational Simulators. In 2014 I started my career as CEO of an SME company dedicated to providing consultancy services and industrial solutions to the European Aerospace agencies and the Industry worldwide.     Data System Manager in charge of the procurement, maintenance and porting of various ESA and Copernicus mission's Operational Simulators.

    I am responsible for the specification, testing, ​acceptance, deployment and support of the Operational Simulator.

    I am responsible for the interface between the Flight Control Teams and the external simulator providers and for the coordination and planning of activities with the Data Systems Managers, Sim Officers, Ground Operations Managers and Engineers.

    In my work at ESOC I am responsible for a number of Data Systems for which I daily take care of:

    - specifying, reviewing and maintaining the software requirements from the preparation of ITTs until the end of life of the missions,

    - organising, running and following-up the (Preliminary and Critical) Design Reviews and the implementation,

    - assessing the performances and compliance to the requirements of the Data Systems under my responsibility, 

    - accepting the deliveries and support of the Flight Control Team' testing, 

    - supporting the preparation and the performance of Simulation Campaigns, System Validation Tests and Integration Campaigns,

    - organising, scheduling, running and following-up Anomaly Review and Software Review boards between the agency and industry, 

    - supporting the LEOP, Commissioning and Routine operations of the missions under my responsibility

    In my work it is of extreme importance that my Data Systems' schedule is kept under strict and rigorous control so to be in sync with the mission and Flight Control Team needs and requirements. 

    I also follow a Documentation Management internal Procedure to ensure that all documents related to the Data Systems under my responsibility that are or need to be exchanged between the agency and the external frame contractors are maintained under configuration control.
