    Project: System on Module (SoM) validation software

    Development of a Linux-based test suite which is part of a SoM validation system. The goal of the test suite is to perform IO interconnectivity validation, DDR memory test and validation of power consumption of the module.

    - implement a control access interface for multiple modules accessed via JTAG
    - develop scripts for programming the SoM’s FPGA with test images
    - Implement mechanism for uploading test report data to a server

    Development of BroadR-Reach and 1000BASE-T PHY modules as part of Ethernet data logger. The design process involves routing of differential and high frequency signals, and impedance controlled lines.
    The designed PCBs passed CE certification.

    Project: MainBoard - Ethernet data logger
    Role: Hardware Developer

    Development of a SoC and FPGA-based MainBoard as part of an Ethernet data logger. The system consists of FPGA as data-processing and SoC control unit.  

    The PCB design includes high speed and impedance controlled routing. Additionally, it contains 16 PCB layers and 9 externally supplied voltages. The design integrates FPGA, SoC, DDR memory, Hyper-flash (NAND) memory, SPI NAND flash memory, 1000BASE-T Ethernet PHYs, high speed connectors, etc. 
    The designed PCB passed CE certification.

    Project: System on Module validation hardware
    Role: Hardware Developer

    Design of a plugin board as part of a SoM validation system. The board provides mechanism for connecting multiple SoMs and testing them selectively. The project involves schematic development, components library development and PCB design.

    Project: Real-time application for acquisition device

    Design and implementation of an embedded application for a multi-purpose acquisition device. The application controls device’s peripherals and displays the monitored measurements of the plugged-in sensors. Additionally, the project involves drivers development for ADC, matrix LCD screen and resistive touch screen, and migration of the whole application from bare metal solution to RTOS.

    Project: Real-time application for USB dongle
    Role: Embedded Software Developer

    Design and development of an embedded application for USB dongle with multi-channel acquisition and control unit. The project involves drivers implementation for board peripherals and development of a customized protocol via USB interface.

    Project: Hardware design for mesh network components
    Role: Hardware Developer

    The project covers hardware development and design for a data acquisition system based on a mesh network. The system consists of three components: coordinator, routers and nodes. The router and node components are Cortex M0-based, while the coordinator is Cortex M3-based, with an integrated UI.

    The design involves development of an analog unit (amplifier for a measuring cell), isolated from the noise of the surrounding components. Additionally, it integrates ADC, Zigbee module, LCD and Li-ion battery charging unit.
