2020-Present Human Systems Integrator for the Gateway Program (KBR contractor supporting JSC) - Performed Systems Engineering duties for requirements flowed from NASA-STD-3001, focusing on ECLS and Physical Hazards.
Attended virtual HITLs, performed program-level document reviews, coordinated with SMEs and collaborated with IPs and providers on compliance with HSI domains. As a team, maintained GP 10017 Human System Requirements for Gateway Program.
2019-2020 Experience developing, building and performing Human Factors testing on a medium-fidelity lunar lander mockup as part of Lockheed Martin-sponsored Graduate projects class. As part of a team, developed medium fidelity mockup to accommodate requirements derived from NASA’s HLS BAA as well as enable meaningful human factors testing to inform the next iteration of the mockup design. I specifically worked on systems integration, simulation software, and HITL subteams.
2018-2020 Graduate Research Assistant at BioServe Space Technologies, designing and testing hardware to enable microbiology payloads launching to the ISS. Wrote procedures for build and test of the hardware, as well as crew use once hardware was flight-ready.
Zea Lab – lead student scientist studying Bacterial and Fungal Biofilms in Microgravity, prepared samples that were launched to the International Space Station November 2019 on NG-12. Performed statistical analyses and prepared technical reports regularly, as well as presenting results.
2016 Process Engineering Development Intern at Confluent Medical Technologies, designing and implementing medical device testing for quality assurance and process development, prepared white paper based on testing results.
2015-2016 Undergraduate Research Assistant – Anseth Research Lab, Valvular Interstitial Cell group studying alpha-SMA activation in PEG based hydrogels.

2017 Inventor on Patent No. 10188250 filed by Kärcher for Floor Cleaning Device with Disinfection Capabilities; a 3-tank system in a recycling floor scrubber with mechanical sanitization of water to be used in acute care environments.
