A Systems Engineer with over 10 years of experience in a variety of spacecraft system engineering tasks, for both Payload and Platform. Growing experience in team and test campaign leadership and management. Proven knowledge in the complete project life cycle, from feasibility studies through to Launch and In-orbit testing.  At ease working within multi-national teams after long periods in several countries including UK, France, The Netherlands and Germany.  Excellent problems solving abilities, whether dealing with technical interfaces, processes, testing, or any other aspect of the project life cycle. Galileo IOV Project : Space Segment (SSeg) Satellite Functional Verification Manager

Responsible for SSeg Requirements verification within SSeg engineering team based in Germany, including managing a team for Satellite Verification and Test Requirements development.

Successfully led first IOV Thermal Balance and Cycling campaign technically and programmatically.

 

Galileo IOV Project : Space Segment (SSeg) Payload Implementation Engineer

Within Astrium Germany SSeg Payload procurement team, with specific responsibility for Payload Requirements document, Payload interfaces and Payload operations.  Also, supported AIT planning and SSeg verification activities.

 

2004

Inmarsat 4 Project :  RF Payload Systems Engineer.

Payload systems analysis for Baseline and Environmental test phases in Toulouse for 3 mobile telecommunications satellites.

 

2000 to 2004

Intelsat 10 Project (Repeater payload):   RF Payload Systems Engineer.

·         RF analysis of the payload design and payload test results

·         Equipment evaluation and acceptance.  Including 5 month residency at Saab Ericsson Space, Sweden. Sent alone to speed up delivery of units.

·         Payload/Satellite level testing - analysis of results, investigation of problems, and support to Integration and Test Teams for two satellite payloads concurrently.  18 month assignment to Toulouse to cover Satellite environmental and range testing.

·         Participated in Launch campaign in Baikonur cosmodrome.

·         Supported In-Orbit testing in Washington DC.
