HSO-GSS (Ground Stations Sub-systems) as SERCO contractor

Responsible of the Frequency and Time Reference sub-systems in the ESA Tracking Stations. Main Tasks:

  • Specification, procurement, development, acceptance and installation of new systems
  • Management of interfaces with the user intefaces at the stations, including the Monitoring and Control
  • Maintenance and trouble shooting of the already deployed systems
  • Harmonisation of the F&T activities among the ESA, national delegations and main stakeholders from industry
  • Support to the development of the F&T sub-system for Galileo

·         Management of studies for anticipating future needs in the F&T domain: optical clocks, ultra-stable reference dissemination over fibre, ground-space-ground synchronisation systems, etc.
