Mission study for Contactless Debris removal using conventional chemical engine to deorbit a man-made object. Mission analysis for the rendezvous and the operational phases. Study of the GNC concept for the momentum transfer. Winner of the SYSNOVA competition.

AGADR (ESA)

Proposal preparation for the AGADR project: mission study for debris removal using net and tethers. Technical preparatory work to study the dynamic of the problem and to implement a DKE together with a LQR controller (a double loop controller to separate the control of the oscillation from the control of the position of the chaser).

MoonGNSS (ESA)

Mission study to evaluate the performance of GNSS navigation for a lunar mission, up to the surface operation. Implementation of a tightly coupled EKF for hybridization between the sensors considered to be standard for this type of mission and the GNSS module.

iGNC (ESA)

Implementation of a mode based attitude guidance for autonomous rendezvous and docking with a Target. In particular, the Target in the iGNC project is a sample orbiting around Mars.

MPC Guidance for planetary rover at GMV aerospace and defence:

The scope of the project was to study and then implement in Matlab/Simulink an MPC guidance for the Moon Hound, a rover developed by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid for the Lunar Robotic Challenge published by ESA in October 2008. Five months at the GMV facilities in Tres Cantos (Madrid).
